Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991) is also known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper. He's also a songwriter, singer, record producer, and songwriter. His stage name is that of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract for GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He signed a contract for joint-recording with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape, Owl Pharaoh. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was the release of his debut studio album. His hit single, "Antidote", was included on the album. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott has released his second album together with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also released his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It topped the Billboard 200. Scott's single "Franchise", featuring Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, debuted. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs debut at the number one spot in less than a decade in 2020.
