Jillian Norah Hennely was born in December 1968. She is an accomplished Canadian singer and actress who has contributed a major contribution to American television. She's been recognized for her exceptional performance in the American TV show Law & Order in which she was awe-inspiring to the viewers over three seasons in the role of prosecution officer Claire Kincaid, and Crossing Jordan for six years in which she portrayed the main character Jordan Cavanaugh. Hennessy also showed off her skills in movies such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she wrote and directed these films. Hennessy began her career in 1988, alongside her sister as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. In the year 1990, she appeared as a guest on Broadway with the title Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She then moved into sci-fi and played Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The following year, she was promoted to assistant prosecutor Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. Her performance captivated viewers in the role for three seasons until her departure in the year 1996. Parker has been featured in films and series such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America and The West Wing Angels in America, for which she won the Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting actress. Parker has also been awarded the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part as Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
